During your stay, you will learn that all five of the bathhouses are clean and modern, that the three pools are solar heated, that you can hike on 7+ miles of shaded trails of the Sanlan Recreation Area, that you can get a golf discount and can walk (or ride) to the "Certified Beginner Friendly" Bramble Ridge Golf Course (www.brgolf.com), and that you can take golf lessons from a choice of several professional golf instructors that give lessons at Bramble Ridge Golf Course. You will learn that the seasonal campers at Sanlan are warm and friendly, that there are lots of activities, especially in the winter, and that there are nondenominational Church services where your spirit will be uplifted. After you take a early morning hike to the rookery near Banana Lake and observe the water birds and alligators in the tree-lined waterways leading to Banana Lake, you will say to yourself: "This is better than most of the State Parks". Sanlan RV Park is conveniently located just south of Exit 10 of the Polk County Parkway (SR 570) interchange on U.S. 98S, less than 10 minutes to fast food restaurants, shopping centers, and approximately one hour to most of the major attractions.
